A CARF-accredited co-ed residential program on Bowen Island that opens with on-site medically assisted detox and combines individual therapy, group therapy, psycho-educational seminars and relapse-prevention skills with 12-Step recovery coaching and holistic programming (yoga, mindfulness, music and art therapy). Medical staff include nurses on site day and overnight plus a psychiatrist/addiction-medicine specialist, and clients currently on methadone or Suboxone are accepted; rooms are mostly shared accommodations.

Weekly Saturday family programming delivered entirely over Zoom so family members can take part from anywhere, built around a counsellor-led educational seminar on addiction and recovery plus optional small groups of two to three clients with a counsellor. An extended Friday–Saturday family program runs every six weeks on deeper themes such as rebuilding trust.
All family weekend programming is included in the cost of the Primary Care Program (per official site).

Structured aftercare with weekly, then monthly, check-ups for a full year after discharge, plus around-the-clock phone access and ongoing contact by e-mail, text, online chat and the Orchard smartphone app. Alumni stay connected through Friends of the Orchard (FOO) meetings in Calgary, Victoria and online, weekly Zoom alumni meetings and daily online morning check-ins.
